Hello, Hello

So are we ready for Valentines Day? Well lets just say that working at Wal-Mart, they put up Valentines Day stuff the day after Christmas. Yeah, I know. I really enjoy working part time in the infants department. I have to say though, Targets infant department is waaaaaaayyyyy better. Shawn is finding his nitch and purpose in his new calling. Our family is already reaping the blessings from his calling. Mom is doing awesome. Wow, are we soooo blessed to have her here. We hope she never leaves us. She is corresponding with a gentlemen friend that lives here in North Carolina. They are getting well aquanted and establishing a sweet friendship. The weather has been weird here. Last month we had 60, 70 degree, now we are in the 30's. Now it feels like winter. All the kids are doing well. Knowone is sick right now except for Moms cronic nasal passage blowing. Yeah for 3 weeks bless her heart. She is making a kleenex collection. My hair is trashed out. I put in waaayyy too much blond. Oh well. Love you all, dont forget to visit darby's website and to leave comments. I know she would love to hear from us all as much as possible. Seeing her go through this unique and painful experience has strengthened and humbled me. I am so grateful for the gospel. The church is true. Love you all-Deb

Hey everyone;)

Well the time has come. To raise the roof and have some fun. Okay, let me get on track. I hope I can stick with blogging. I like the idea. So let's give it a try.

Mom has been here now for one month. We are having so much fun with her hear. We hope the "wind never changes". She says she'll stay until the wind changes. Yeah, I don't think so. Welp, I'm enjoying work at Wal-Mart. They have me in the infants department. Lots to do. In this economy, Wallys isnt going anywhere. I'm working part-time for now. I have done alot of thinking and praying and have decided to postpone school for a semester. I have alot on my plate and know what I can and cant handle. The amount of time, focus, and dedication for the program I just dont have. Mom is helping me get my life organized. This is the first time she has come to stay with me for an extended period of time. Please know that she has her own life and I have no expectations of her. We just enjoy each others friendship. Shawn is just starting his calling as Elders Quorom President. He, so far, has just one counselor. He will not be deploying this year to Afganistan. We are so happy to have a husband and dad around. Madelyn just turned 11 and loves Joe Jonas, wearing the color black, and has braces. Oh the joys of preteenhood. Lindsay is 9. She is a wonderful helper for Grandma and the boys. She loves to read and jump on the trampoline with Maddie. Brandon is wearing glasses now. He is going to physical therapy for his courdination and grose motor skills. He seems to be happy. He is going through the school assesment program to prepare for preschool. Daniel is my ADHD 2 year old that cant sit still for one second. Fortunatly, he will sit still through church though. He is a daddy's boy thru and thru. He loves to go outside and run around in circles and make himself and Joshua laugh. Joshua is now 13 months. He just started walking a few steps. It's bittersweet to see the last child walk. He is an absolute precious little boy. Some how he just nows that he belongs to a silly and loving family. We are really enjoying North Carolina. We havent done much site seeing yet. I will keep you all posted. Love you all. blog soon =Deb
